Charles Ernest Roberts III grew up in rural central New York,
though he eventually left those forests and fields to attend
art school in Boston, MA.
Upon completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree,
Charles continued to pursue life as an artist, forgetting
he needed a place to live. Then he met Amanda Joy
and found a home with her, making elaborate sculptures
that no one ever saw, and playing the part of Pontius Pilate
in Jesus Christ Superstar a couple of times.
In 2006, Charles moved with Amanda Joy to Chicago,
where he is currently beginning a new phase of art making
in Super 8 and HDV, which he hopes to finally share
with the world.
